Cael Jacobs

Cael has walked a long and winding spiritual path that, at one time or another, has led him through agnosticism, Evangelical Christianity, and eventually into syncretic Pagan animism. He has been an energy worker since 1991, an energy-work teacher since 2006, and a published author on the subject since 2015.

He is one of the co-founders and clergy of ShadowGrove, Speaker for the ShadowGrove Tradition, and a ritual leader and teacher within the broader Wilder Grove community. He's also co-founder of both Fertile Ground Gathering, a Beltane celebration that began in 2008, and Mystic Fire, a deep-working retreat that began in 2025.

Cael is a writer, who creates stories of myth and legend, as well as a woodworker and maker, who creates magical tools and other intentional pieces in his workshop on the sacred ground of Wilder Grove.
