Yule Gathering 2023

Please  join us in celebrating Yule on Saturday December 23rd.  Yule is the Winter Solstice; the longest night of the year.  From this point, the light begins to return and brings with it hope for brighter days.  Though the winter is only beginning on this day, we can spend a day together in community to help reinforce our connections so they last through the cold winter months ahead.

This will be an open house event, and you'll be welcome to arrive anytime after 2pm.  Schedule details can be found below.

Yule Gift Exchange

This is one of our most beloved traditions, and we're excited to continue it this year. We invite everyone to make a hand-crafted gift suitable for anyone regardless of age or gender. . It does not need to be a grand work of high art. So please don't be intimidated. This is an opportunity for you to dig deep and find your inner talent, and then allow your creativity to flow.The idea of the gift exchange is to give something from the heart; something that was made by your hands

To help get your wheels turning, here are some things people have created in the past:

• Paintings/Drawings

• Handmade soaps

• Homemade treats

• Dream catchers

• Yule ornaments

• Crocheted or knitted items

• Candles

• Quilts

• Pottery

• Gift certificates for custom pieces

• Gift baskets of curated items

These are just some ideas.  The options are only limited by your imagination.

Please note that though we encourage everyone who joins us to make a gift, it is not a requirement. Please don't feel you must make a gift if you truly prefer not to.

What to Bring

Feast Contributions

• Please bring a dish or dessert enough to feed 4 - 6 people.

• Please include an ingredients card for your food contributions.

• Please also bring any serving utensils your dish requires.

Please remember to bring your Feast Gear in order to minimize waste.  This  includes plates, bowls, utensils, drinking vessels, and napkins.  Feast Gear and Water Bottles

To help keep you comfortable during the festivities.Camp chairs, pillows, blankets, etc.

To help you stay warm and protected during our outdoor ritual (weather permitting).Layers, hats, scarves, etc.
