About the Event
*This event takes place on private property. Address will be provided to those who register to attend.*
We're so excited to announce details about our upcoming Midsummer weekend celebration! During Fertile Ground Gathering, many of us experienced amazing energy, joy, and that true sense of community that we've all come to love. And we're ready for more of that! We're looking forward to continuing to foster this wonderful sense of community, and we hope you will plan to be here to celebrate with us! There will be lots of activities available, and you will be welcome to come for part of the day, or for the entire celebration. Camping spaces will be available for anyone who would like to stay overnight.

CLASS - Living Your Path
So often, it feels like we don't have the choice to slow down and actually walk our spiritual path. There's always so much going on in our lives, and it sometimes seems that there's no way to fit our practice into our daily lives. So, how do we make time for spiritual practice when it already feels like we don't have time for everything else we are committed to? Join us for this class and discussion to discover ways to incorporate your spiritual practice so that it becomes a regular part of your life.
COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
Outdoor Games
- Cornhole
- Bocce ball
- Horseshoes
- Frisbee
- Giant Jenga
CANCELLED DUE TO THE EXTREME HEAT: Garden Design and Decor - The pollinator garden is taking shape, and we'd love your contribution to continue to build on it. We've cleared the weeds and collected stones and some plants. If you feel like getting your hands in the dirt, or would like to help decorate the space, you are more than welcome to join in!
Gratitude Tree - We'll be setting up a station by the Magnolia tree where you can create a symbol (or two or more!) of your gratitude to hang from the tree.
Grove Tours - For those who will be joining us for the first time (and even those who want to go again!), we'll be hosting tours around the Wilder Grove. This is a great opportunity to see where everything is and learn a little bit of the history of the sacred land we call home.
Nature Altars - Following the class on Living Your Path, there will be an opportunity to create a nature altar or several around the Grove based on some of what we discussed in class.
Community Reaffirmation Altar - We encourage you to bring an item that represents you and/or your spiritual path for the altar as a way to reaffirm your path and your commitment to continue walking it. Having everyone's personal touches on this altar will make it a beautiful sight! (Note: These items will remain on the altar for the duration of the festivities and you will be able to take them with you when you leave.)
JUST ADDED
Cooling Activities! - We invite you to bring your swim suits and towels to spend some time cooling down in our indoor swimming pool. We'll also have some water balloons available to play with, and if you have a water gun, feel free to bring it, too!
CAMPING
If you wish to camp onsite, please bring along whatever amenities (tents and camping gear) that you will need to be comfortable during your stay. When you arrive, please come see either Cael or me so we can let you know which spots are still available.
FEAST CONTRIBUTIONS
- In addition to your contribution to Feast, we ask that you bring your own food, drinks, etc., either picnic style if you will only be with us for a short while, or enough to last you the weekend if you plan on staying throughout the entire celebration. Refrigerator space is extremely limited and will be reserved primarily for Saturday's feast dishes, so please bring your food in a cooler. Trash cans and recycling bins will be made available for your convenience.
- In an effort to minimize the amount of trash we create, we ask that you to bring your own re-usable feast gear (plates, utensils, cups, napkins, etc.) for the weekend.
- Please remember to bring along whatever we’ll need to serve your food contribution during Feast as well.
- Please bring an ingredients card for all your food contributions.
WHAT TO BRING
- Reaffirmation Altar Items
- Folding chairs, pillows, picnic blankets, etc.
- Bug spray, sun block, outdoor shoes, hat, sunglasses, etc.
- Instruments!
We're welcoming back our friends Cellina Rhiannon and Glasshawk, who will be leading our evening drum circle! Bring your drums and other instruments if you want to participate!
- A Song, a Poem, a Story!
Prepare something and share your talent during the Bardic Circle!
- A bottle to share
During the bonfire, we will gather around to commune, bond and enjoy each other’s company. Oftentimes this portion of our events is joyfully enhanced by the sharing of a glass (or so) of wine (or beer, or mead or what have you). So please feel free to bring some to share. This is a zero pressure situation. If a drink gets passed to you, and you do not wish to partake, go ahead and pass it on.
We're looking forward to seeing you at Midsummer!
