An Evening Under the Full Moon

Join us for a casual evening under the Full Moon!

We'll have a pot luck Feast, gather around the bonfire, and enjoy getting a chance to just hang out and get to know each other.

Plus, we're hosting our first official drum circle, facilitated by Mark Sawasky!

Mark Sawasky’s Drum Circle Facilitation

Mark facilitates drum circles that fully engage all participants, from beginners to advanced

drummers and musicians, while creating a strong sense of community. His approach is to teach

simple, accessible rhythms that people can play along with, add on to, and even solo from.

Playing rhythmic patterns for an extended amount of time helps each person relax, connect

with the collective heartbeat, and find their own place in the circle. In time, the drum circle will

find its groove and evolve into a beautiful, unified piece of music with multiple voices.

This event has a minimum donation amount of $10. All donations will go toward covering expenses for this event, and others like it here at the Wilder Grove.

What to Bring

• Camp chairs, pillows, blankets, etc. to help you stay comfortable

• Insect repellent

• Water bottle and drinks for yourself or to share

• Feast contribution (sign up for what you'll bring to share during registration)

• Feast Gear! (Plates, bowls, cups, utensils, napkins, etc.)

• Drums and other percussion instruments!

  • Mark will bring some instruments to share, but if you have something, bring it with you!
