About the Event
Please join us in celebrating Yule on Saturday December 23rd. Yule is the Winter Solstice; the longest night of the year. From this point, the light begins to return and brings with it hope for brighter days. Though the winter is only beginning on this day, we can spend a day together in community to help reinforce our connections so they last through the cold winter months ahead.
This will be an open house event, and you'll be welcome to arrive anytime after 2pm. Schedule details can be found below.
Yule Gift Exchange
This is one of our most beloved traditions, and we're excited to continue it this year. We invite everyone to make a hand-crafted gift suitable for anyone regardless of age or gender. The idea of the gift exchange is to give something from the heart; something that was made by your hands. It does not need to be a grand work of high art. So please don't be intimidated. This is an opportunity for you to dig deep and find your inner talent, and then allow your creativity to flow.
To help get your wheels turning, here are some things people have created in the past:
- Handmade soaps
- Homemade treats
- Dream catchers
- Yule ornaments
- Crocheted or knitted items
- Gift certificates for custom pieces
- Gift baskets of curated items
These are just some ideas. The options are only limited by your imagination.
Please note that though we encourage everyone who joins us to make a gift, it is not a requirement. Please don't feel you must make a gift if you truly prefer not to.
Note: Please RSVP to this event so that we may keep track of all attendees. This event takes place on private property, and the address will only be provided to those who register to attend.
